Dragonfly Cancer Trusts’ Prestigious Dragonfly Ball on 21 October 2023

When Deva Hearts was approached by the Dragonfly Cancer Trust in the summer of 2023 I was extremely touched by the work they do and was more than happy to get involved in the fundraising drive in line with the Trusts’ mission.

The Dragonfly Cancer Trust work with specialist cancer treatment centres, hospitals, hospices and families across the UK providing support for young patients with terminal cancer who receive palliative treatment.

​

Their focus is on memory making, helping young patients to make each moment matter with their loved ones. 

I am very honoured to have been approached by Dragonfly Cancer Trust and was more than happy to donate a gold and silver dragonfly pendant to the auctions of the Dragonfly Cancer Trusts’ Prestigious Dragonfly Ball 2023. These donations, along with many other donations from many other businesses, helped raise money on the night for an incredibly worthy cause.

It was a pleasure to attend this event in person and to see first hand the amazing work they do.

I would like to show my appreciation to Jane Dennison and Sarah Hogg and all those involved in the Dragonfly Cancer Trust for their continued hard work in supporting young people with terminal cancer. You really do make a difference!

This was a night to remember for sure, and many thousands of pounds raised for young people who really deserve it. A special thanks also to my mum for sharing this special occasion with me.
